We finally close on our second home this week. It was a stressful and long process, but that's a story for another time.
Most of our stuff is packed up in cardboard boxes, wrapped in old newspaper - just sitting around waiting to be picked up by the movers.
The first time around was much simpler - we had no furniture or real belongings of which to speak, so we just packed up our clothes. However, after 4 years of living here, we've slowly accumulated tons of furniture and random knick-knacks.
I'll miss this house, but I'm definitely ready to move on and create new memories in our new home.
